American Idol and Lost tonight.
The big question is… is Locke dead?!? Ben shot him in the gut in last week’s episode, but methinks that since his dad conned him out of a kidney, and therefore is lacking in organs in that area, he’ll be just fine. Not that I came up with that myself, but I thought I’d share.
Speaking of not coming up with things myself, I can’t say anything about what I expect to happen in the next two episodes because I read a pretty detailed “insiders summary,” otherwise known as MAJOR SPOIELRS. I’m a fwiggin wee-tawd. It didn’t necessarily ruin it because I was like “OH MY GOD!” as I was reading it, and seeing it on film will be awesome. If they are even true, which there was some debate about, but after seeing the clip of tonight’s episode they seem pretty true.

But, if the summary of the season finale (airing next week) is true… it’s… we’ll, it’s great. I think. Personally, I think what happens in the last few mintues will put the show into a whole other realm of whatever else is being shown on TV today. Whether you think it’s a good idea or not, I’m pretty sure you’ll be going “HO. LEE. SHIT.” either way. But I think it’s going to furthur divide the Lost audience. One side will continue to make fun of the show for being so over-the-top, unpredictable, and poorly written (when really it’s just WAY ahead of it’s time), yet continue to watch, while the other will grow even more loyal.
That is, if it turns out to be true. What I read could be completely wrong, like last week when I read that Jacob was revealed to be Richard Alpert (obviously that didn’t happen, but what’s the deal with Richard not aging?? My prediction: the original Others are the survivors of the Black Rock shipwreck and for whatever reason don’t age.)
Moving on to spoilers from another show: American Idol. That’s right. I read the spoilers for American Idol and the winner will be Jordin Sparks. Melinda Dolittle will go home tonight, and Blake Lewis will be the runner-up.
If you’re mad like Katy that I posted “spoilers” for American Idol, remember it’s a show where you call in and vote and therefore control the outcome week-to-week. If those end up being accurate it means one of two things: 1) Lucky guess, Slick or 2) the show is pre-determined and you’re vote does nothing but rack up money for Cingular, or, I’m sorry, the new AT&T. “Cue the Coke sign,” Ryan. Sanjaya’s tidal wave of fame ended way to abruptly for it to have happened by your votes. In my opinion.
But, what’ll probably happen is the minute both shows air tonight
In other words, to sum up: Lost will be SOOOOO good, but then again, it might not! Jordin Sparks will become America’s Idol, but then again, maybe it’ll be Blake!
SHALOM.
